Thanks to all for thinking of and remembering Maggie for the past years. We all continue to fight violence against women in all of its forms.
It's October - I know this is a challenging month for Martha and Rick remembering Maggie. I'd like to acknowledge all the hard work you guys have done with preventing gun violence in honor of Maggie. She must be very proud.love to you both and Maggie
Thinking of Maggie, her family, and all the lives she touched today.
Every time I come to this site I think it's not going to make me emotional this time, and every time I am wrong. I can't believe it has almost been 20 years.
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Maggie only once when I helped Rick she had a unique laugh that was great to hear on a hot summer day when you are young.
Gone too soon but not forgotten. My prayers and thoughts are with he family of Maggie.
Thinking of you today, Maggie.
Thinking of you, Maggie, today and feeling your spirit still alive in all the women I have worked with since your death, helping them to survive and thrive as you could not. Love, Aunt Susan
Our memories of Maggie are still strong and vivid. We appreciate that others think of her often too and that her spirit inspires them to thrive and make the world better.
I am very sorry for your loss of your beautiful daughter/niece. Thank you for all you do to keep her memory alive while empowering others to take control of their lives and situations. God bless you all.
HAPPY Birthday, Maggie !!! Many Good Changes have occurred, since Your - Loss of Life. Much more Work to be Done ... Continued Prayers for You and Your Family. Love Ya, "ANGEL" Keep Sending Angels & Butterflies 🙂
The website is a beautiful tribute to Maggie, my niece, who we miss so much every single day. It is also a recognition of the amazing work that Rick and Martha, Maggie's stepdad and mom, have done in Maggie's honor so that no other family will have to experience the pain and grieve of losing a beautiful, talented child to dating violence and gun violence. Keep up the good work. Love, Susan
Due to the unfortunate timing of a change to another server by our website's provider, it appears that a few guestbook entries dated Oct 5 - 6 were lost. We apologize if your entry was lost and invite you to re-post your entry. We hope you choose to do so.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I appreciate you taking your loss and organizing to end sexism, the oppression that keeps violence in place.
Welcome to our new rememberingmaggie.org website and guestbook. We have updated our website to tell Maggie's story and to share what we have learned about dating violence and healthy relationships in the nearly 16 years since she left. Please feel free, and safe, to share your thoughts. Rick and Martha
Happy birthday, Maggie! I never met you but your beautiful spirit, your light, shines through even today. I don't ever walk by Stetson without thinking of you. You have inspired so many people - you are the beginning of a chain of love and strength. Thank you, forever
It's a day to remember you, Maggie. Had a great Clothing and Book Drive to support the work that I do in your memory. It was fun for everyone to be gathered around helping out, feeling your presence there and at the last workshop and retreat too. Those butterflies keep showing up everywhere!! Much love, Aunt Susan
